SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL AT CONEY ISLAND
On July 21, the Jackie 60 faithful joined tens of
thousands of Saturday afternoon revellers at CONEY ISLAND for the first ever Village Voice SIREN MUSIC FESTIVAL.
The JACKIES created a special edition of their 21st century incarnations FURTHER for the historic Coney Island Sideshow
space: an homage to DREAMLAND, the most extravagant of Coney's three famous parks.
Highlights included HOUSE OF DOMINATION corset fetish moments including MARTI DOMINATION's ankle-baring burlesque feature, DJ JOHNNY DYNELL spinning period music mixed
with modern carny classics, HATTIE HATHAWAY as Dreamland popcorn and peanut queen MARIE DRESSLER and HOUSE OF DOMINATION
chorines JESSICA RABBIT AND GENOCIDE costumed in vintage splendor by KITTY BOOTS. The hot and extremely vivid
sideshow space got several degrees steamier as very special guest JOEY ARIAS warbled as the she-devil of HELLGATE -
where Dreamland's epic fire began.
