THE JACKIE FACTORY ONLINE

Since 1992, when our earliest email lists began, THE JACKIE FACTORY has developed a strong online audience interested in creative and alternative nightlife both at home and worldwide. In 1995, we launched our first website Interjackie, which evolved into Mothernyc.com. Mothernyc.com documents and publicizes a wide range of nightlife alternatives, while sister site Queenmother.tv focuses on all things drag in Gotham. Together the sites are serving over a million unique visitors a year, and over three million pageviews. In 2001, the Motherboards (www.motherboardsnyc.com,) busy forums on all manner of New York nightclub and cultural topics, were added. Besides maintaining and perfecting these three online destinations, the Jackie Factory also provides content (nightclub and scene reports and photographs) for other sites. New sites under development include an updated NYC Travel and Events site, Another NY.

QUEENMOTHER.TV is the online outpost of New York City's thriving drag performance community, and other transgendered and transsexual people who share their interests. Queenmother.tv, born of the alternative New York club dynasty MOTHER, was launched at the 2000 edition of Wigstock, the famous drag festival. The site has since grown to include busy user forums, huge archives, drag club and event listings, and many more features.

The Motherboards, launched in 2001, are New York City's most fluid source of information on NY nightclub openings, news and gossip. These free forums provide a virtual lifeline to over 1000 registered users and tens of thousands of more casual visitors monthly. Motherboards members include a wide range of active participants in New York City and surrounding nightlife, alternative lifestyles and niche entertainment. Board ranks have swelled of late to include hundreds of scenesters in other cities and countries who love to keep in touch - and report on their burgs. "The Boards" are scoured daily by NYC club promoters, journalists and performers as well as nightclub tourists on their way to our town. They've been called "more addictive than any club drug!" and "the best new club of 2001."
